IT Solution Sales / Business Development

    ISSI is an industry leading IT solutions provider searching to expand our nationwide business presence.  We are seeking highly motivated professionals to acquire and manage high value, complex technology sales opportunities.  Individuals will be responsible for winning new business targeted at large enterprise accounts and government agencies and will be responsible for managing account relationships through senior level engagements.  Individuals will also develop penetrating sales strategies and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand total cost of ownership, industry trends, technology solutions including:  systems, security, storage and networking, and multi-vendor product sales.  Individuals will be involved in all aspects of negotiating and closing multi-million dollar deals involving a variety of managed IT network, security and enterprise services.  Candidates must be consultative, seasoned veterans in managing the pursuit of large deals that involve the integration of multiple services for large enterprise customers.  This position will have the ultimate responsibility for managing C-level relationships with Fortune 500 and Government customers as well as leading deal pursuit to capture high value, multi-year contracts.

Key background and professional characteristics that are highly desired:

  • Ability to understand and lead complex financial and contractual negotiations
  • Solid understanding of large scale IT and communication transformation efforts
  • Strong tactical and strategic business abilities
  • Experience managing the pursuit and close of new sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel and work effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Superb writing, verbal and presentation skills
  • VAR and solution sales background with HP, SUN, Cisco and other technology partners a definite plus
